Wading Through Rough Waters with Prayer and Grace

Updated: Mar 6, 2022

Dear Friends, Thank you for continuing on this journey with me. It has and continues to be a blessing that God has placed this matter on my heart and I am equally blessed that your hearts are united with mine for such a worthy cause. Your support, whether financially or in prayer, reminds me of the scripture in Ecclesiastes 4:12:

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

As we join forces with each other to fight for those who may not have much fight left in them I am confident that the Lord will bless us and this work.

We are currently living through very trying times, and while COVID-19 certainly did stop many things from happening I want you to know that we have continued to press forward in many fronts. The paperwork for our charity status has been filed. It may take a little longer for it to be processed as the government’s priorities have been adjusted, but we know that we can leave this with God and trust His timing to be perfect, as it always is. Under normal circumstances we would have been working on and hosting a few events that our committee has been eagerly putting together, and we trust that many of you would have been there to join and support us. While these limitations may have slowed us down we were not willing to let it stop us. As such we went ahead with the launch of our Beacon Bag key chains (featured below). The trial proved to be worthwhile as we sold out of our original order of 50 products in 4 days! For those of you who purchased a key chain, we thank you, and for those who missed out on the launch, an additional 200 have been ordered. Stayed tuned to get yours!

Those of you who have joined us at previous events will recall the lovely scarf necklaces that we have sold as a means of generating financial support. I’m happy to say that we have been restocked with new scarves as well, and would be happy to make arrangements with you to get you yours.

As always we ask that you would keep us in prayer. We believe that this mission is from God. The need remains strong, and we firmly believe that God has great things in store. We trust, that with His timing, and His provision we will be able to do great and mighty things for this cause. Please join us in believing and listening for His direction as we move forward. We pray also for you. That you would be greatly blessed and have the strength and courage to carry out the things that God placed on your heart. With much love, Denise March Founder, Beacon Bags
