OUR HISTORY

Since our launch in 2017, the team at Beacon Bags has worked tirelessly to promote our cause. We are blessed to have faithful volunteers and members of our Board of Directors from all walks of life who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year.
While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We don’t measure our success through just facts, but through the testimonies of survivors and heartwarming feedback. See how you can become part of the difference.

Shining a light on human trafficking

At Beacon Bags - Shining a light on human trafficking, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place. Since 2017, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our endeavours.
We have donated countless Go Bags filled with essential items (personal personal hygiene items, a change of clothing, notepad, pen/pencil and more) directly to the women saved from trafficking. We also donated to Ontario Provincial Police for boys/men Go Bags filled with similar items. We have continued to grow year after year, with fundraisers, awareness programs, and information sessions with churches, youth groups, and special interest clubs in Ontario.

As we continue our calling in earnest, we welcome new partners and patrons that are passionate about these issues. Please reach out for partnership opportunities, if you have questions, or would like education on human trafficking.
